Minimize the # of Visits for Your Dentures!
Considering the current COVID-19 situation, when starting the journey with new dentures, you can come to our office for 4 full hours, during which we will do your consultation, take the preliminary records/measurements, and do the fitting, lab work, and re-sizing. This will allow us to offer 2-3 appointments instead of 4-5.
Since we have the whole office to ourselves, you can comfortably wait here while enjoying free access to Wi-Fi & chilled water. With a well-equipped on-site laboratory in place, there will be minimal back and forth for you, as we will do the moulding of the prototype and readjustment while you are here.
Over time, your mouth bones and gums shrink which alters the shape of the ridges that support your denture. The solution to this problem can be denture relines in Calgary. A reline is adding new base material to the tissue side of a denture so it fits properly. If this isn’t done when needed, there is a greater risk of them falling out. For any such requirement, choose Swiss Denture Clinic.
We are also glad to offer services for implant dentures and complete dentures.
There are two main kinds of relines you can get depending on the severity of tissue change. They are:
Proper upkeep is essential for both your dentures and mouth. Here are some tips to follow:
Can I reline dentures myself?
Yes. This is a cheaper and more convenient option. But the downside is that if you don’t do it right, you could mess up the denture fit.
How do I clean soft reline dentures?
You must rinse it under running water and brush it lightly. Don’t soak the denture in the cleaning solution. When you remove it from your mouth, store it in a container with plain water.
How long does it take to reline dentures?
The procedure may take around 30 minutes to an hour.
